Design Thinking - Developing A Persona
Creating personas is about imagining typical users as real people with their own experiences, likes, and dislikes, both in their personal and professional lives. The goal is to understand their real needs. Often, initial user profiles are based on assumptions, but it's important to check if these profiles truly match real people. Interviews and observations can reveal different needs and preferences.
To understand users better, it's essential to ask "why" and learn about real situations. Creating user stories with elements like photos, quotes, and anecdotes can help make these personas more relatable.
Think of working with personas like the process used by detectives in TV shows. They describe personality traits and behaviors to solve crimes.
It's a good idea to create personas yourself to really get a grasp of your potential users. If you're short on time, you can use standard personas, but be careful with very brief descriptions because users can be quite different. A deeper understanding provides better insights and makes the process more interesting.
